0.9.15 released and latest news 2013-11-17

Today we have packaged Siena 0.9.15 which comes with the following changes:

• Added support for Custom Installation Scripts, opening an opportunity to create custom installation profiles.
• Added a way for developers to avoid globals when variable scope is not fixed.
• CKEditor 4.3.
• Files required for sites migrating from Genoa and Seditio have been moved to a separate package.
• More sweets for developers: CoTemplate chaining and cot_url_modify().
• Over 13 small enhancements.
• Over 30 bugs fixed including broken updates and GD memory crashes.

There have been discussions within Cotonti Team about our near future and eventually we decided that:

• In one of the following releases Cotonti will ship with new admin and frontend themes, both based on Twitter Bootstrap 3. This site will receive a new look too. Work on all 3 themes is already in progress.
• We are going to add some Wiki functionality to Documentation section on this site, so it will be easier to participate for everybody who wants to.
• Multilingual support will be improved both in Cotonti and on this site.
• Siena development will continue the path of small improvements. We don't plan any major or backwards incompatible changes in 0.9 and 1.x, so you can safely base your extensions and themes on it.

Security update 0.9.14 2013-07-22

Hi-Tech Bridge Security Research Lab has recently discovered an SQL injection vulnerability in Cotonti's RSS module. This release contains the fix for that bug among many other changes.

In Cotonti Siena 0.9.14 more than 44 issues have been resolved. Besides the bugs fixed, most of them are related to Administration panel and SEO. See release notes for more details.

For RSS module users this update is a must, for the others it is just highly recommended.

Cotonti Siena 0.9.13 "Kingsley" 2013-03-16

Hello dear Community.

It's time to update your Cotonti instances to the latest and greatest 0.9.13 after several months since 0.9.12.1. Here is what we've got for you:

0.9.12.1 follow-up 2012-12-04

A critical bug was found in 0.9.12 package, so we're replacing it with 0.9.12.1 which contains a few other fixes, see this report.

Users who have already upgraded to 0.9.12, please download the new version and replace updated files.
