How would I go about setting up Cotonti to be as a static home page like site.com than have a stand alone blog which would be all news post so site.com/blog is this even possible? All</a> your game needs and more

If I got you right, then it is as easy as editing index.tpl of your theme. You can disable unnecessary plugins in Administration / Extensions then. May the Source be with you!

I'm lost. Could you explain it in a simplified way? May the Source be with you!

Ok, you know how sites have the main page like site.com/index.php and such but have a subb direcrtorie for thier forum or such thats how i would like to set it up so site.com/index.php would be the main page of the cotonti install with the news post being on its own type of page, So site.com/index.php which is running a normal install of contin then site.com/blog which would have all the news post that would normally be in the index.tpl of the skin on its own page. so basically can cotonti have custom made pages. So you want to move the news to /blog and keep the homepage for something else, right? May the Source be with you!
