I spent a great deal of time on this... but there are lots of improvements that could be made to this plugin. But for now I am just releasing it AS IS... because i dont want to wait any longer with it. I have tested it for rights and admin functionality, and I saw no error's there...yet... :D Have FUN ! This plugin can use both FSM and NON-FSM ! So you can switch between them... it keeps working.... (update... after test with Trustmaster) (I made this code 1 year ago... i forgot that myfiles is compatible with both modes) What does this mean if you have Normal storage Mode: myfiles will remember how a file is stored, so myfiles is compatible with OLD files stored, even when you switch modes! note: the original PFS is not compatible when switching between modes... (Only Myfiles can handle that) TESTING You can test myfiles besides the pfs it is safe. ERRORS / BUGS Leave them in this thread, and i will fix them... What does this mean if you have Normal storage Mode:
myfiles will remember how a file is stored, so myfiles is compatible with OLD files stored, even when you switch modes!

note: the original PFS is not compatible when switching between modes... (Only Myfiles can handle that)

TESTING

You can test myfiles besides the pfs it is safe.

ERRORS / BUGS

Leave them in this thread, and i will fix them...

Special notes:
Some plugin configuration and settings can be found in the CFG folder within the plugin.

Administrators Thanked: 263 times	Good job! Some feature requests from me: Add a button which opens myfiles main window, so you can browse your files when editing a page or post. Replace popup windows with fancy ajax divs. List folders like files, add checkboxes to mass-move and mass-delete folders. Add recursive removal of non-empty folders with confirmation. This is excellent news for me personally since (as you know) we are not using FSM. Thank you for making it support both.

I will give this a go on my test website (no idea when but i hope soon).

plug.php?e=myfiles&userid=0 (for site files)
plug.php?e=myfiles&folderid=xx (for viewing a specific folder)
This is actually a nice one... IF you have a shared folder you can share the content (all files) as a link... logged in ppl can see the filelist.

Release Candidate 5 is comming up soon:

Modifications:

When file is uploaded the main window scrolls auto to filelist (specially made for small screen laptops)
File upload now also shows a fileurl (link) to support non-bbcode sites
In setup a config option is added to activate bbcode support.
Added option: Show folder info (to reduce screen space)
Added folder url... which ppl can use for sharing folders. (when a folder is public)
Added forums and posts tags to open main myfiles browser window.
Moved some config items from setup to cfg\config.php

After this I wait a while for results/issues/questions from users...

Maybe a little bit skinning here and there and it would make a perfect replacement for the original PFS System currently used by Cot. @Trustmaster; what do you think how much time it would take to convert it to sienna?
