Hi;

I created a like button for pages and comments based on the code of "Pulse like button": http://s.technabled.com/PulseVote

here's the plugin:

http://www.cotonti.com/datas/users/like_253.zip

There's one thing missing: I can't seem to get the check_xg() to work with it. Please help?

Is it Siena or Genoa ?

Take all that money that we spend on weapons and defences each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace. - Bill Hicks

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.

It is Genoa. I wait for Siena to be stable :)

Added 25 minutes later:

I added like button for forum posts as well. Also added plugin configuration to switch on/off like buttons in various places...

I need that sed_check_xg() working to make sure I did the job well :/

Added 9 minutes later:

By the way, I'll port this plugin to Siena as soon as somebody helps me with sed_check_xg()!

You can see I made some steps in the code, but the x variable isn't passed by javascript. :(    Boo. I'm not experienced in debugging javascript.

Added 3 days later:

No help? :(

Have a look at plugins/markitup/markitup.header.php (in Genoa) to see how you can embed $sys['xk'] in JavaScript settings. In Siena version it is done entirely on javascript side (see markitup.rc.php line 55).

May the Source be with you!
