I think it useful.
Create system of backup page_text before editing page. And backend for admin to display/manage this page revisions. Do or not ? Core or plugin (hook page.add.add.first) ? rangjungyeshe.ru

Good idea! I think that it would introduce into the core. And add the possibility of disconnection of the establishment of backups /admin.php?m=config&n=edit&o=core&p=page

Nah not for core, cause thats getting more of a wiki thing. Which I do have a wiki(ish) plugin. You can feel free to improve upon my wiki plugin though if you wish. I don't think as a general thing most people would ever need that sort of thing. If they do they are just gonna need a full blow wiki system really.

Backup in revisions - it is not wiki, it is just similar feature. :)

Yeah, agreed, that's for a plugin but not the core. And agreed that Wiki would be nice for docs here.

Its been updated a little to work with cotonti, and uploaded.
Its working in the Docs section. Anyone can edit a page now, I need to upload it to the SVN later. Then you guys can translate/fix the TPL's to be multilingual. As right now the TPL files are hardcoded and what not. |
