Correct, your free to use Cotonti on comercial sites.

License.txt comes with the package. In fact, it is a BSD license which means free unlimited use.

I really like the framework. I have a couple off sites running on sed and one on ldu (really should upgrade that one). So I know this work from Olivier, and you'll took a good engine to build on. I can add a small contribution to this site. A detailed description of Cotonti running on XAMPP. Is this a good idea ? Leo ==- I say: Keep it EZ -==

You could sure, but really its no different than running it any other way, but of course your welcome to post up a guide. There are likely plenty of people who can use knowing how to set it up local to use. Though I personally recommend WAMP over XAMPP, it has a simple gui for enabling extension and such, and apache settings. And easily allows for online/offline modes
