Alphabet Category Sorting?

Contributors	I'm playing with 006 on my other server, and structures and cats are something I'm playing with all the time. How are categories sorted? By date? I mean categories, not the pages in categories. as you can see here http://musiconly.site50.net/list.php?c=articles , cats aren't sorted by alphabet, rather by the "time" they were added. WER is the first cat i added, and ARS is the last category I added. First 5 categories have 1.1 for path, and last two have 1.2 for path. So that's the reason why ARS was placed in the middle instead of at the end of the list.

Contributors Thanked: 12 times	Hmm, the path is supposed to be unique. Like: 1 1.1 1.2 1.3 1.3.1 1.3.2 ... And cats are sorted by path exactly. Whoah, I would never though that the paths can be the same. :)

Contributors	I also thought that paths need to be unique, but i guess this proves I was wrong (when paths are the same, system automatically sorts cats by code, ASC ) More cats can be added under same path but then you can't have sub sub. Like 1.1.1 (where would that baby go in this case? ) Cats are sorted by path - first five are 1.1 and last two are 1.2 BUT IMHO alphabet sorting MUST be more important than path sorting. Users can't see paths, but they do get confused when something is not sorted alphabetically, right?

Cats are sorted by path - first five are 1.1 and last two are 1.2 BUT IMHO alphabet sorting MUST be more important than path sorting. Users can't see paths, but they do get confused when something is not sorted alphabetically, right?
