How do i create a page like this

http://www.cotonti.com/downloads/

and not look like this

http://www.cotonti.com/downloads/plugins/general/

what i mean. is that "downloads" is pretty much a blank page with the options to choose from. but its not like the second page with "title" hits" "comments" "ratings" etc.

Just create category and set it to group.

Then yes just create subcateogries for the main category by setting path to #.#.#.#.# etc (but only as deep as you need. Ex 10 is Downloads so make Plugins 10.1

# Lombi : You want to do CATEGORIES not pages. THATS A CATEGORY and what you're seeing are SUBCATEGORIES.

CAN WE PLEASE HAVE A VIDEO TUTORIAL REQUEST PAGE?
Yea it would be great to have a video on this.

I did read a tutorial from a friends site, igfx, but it seems that the tutorial only works on seditio as it doesnt fare well for cotoni.

@kinlandor, dave, lombi - ty that helps

Also i didd want to create a blank page for stuff like "About The site" and "FAQ"

certain stuff like that.

@AerialAngel: it is the same as in seditio.

Just to like Kilandor said.

Main category eg code 5 and make it a group. it uses list.group.tpl (With only subcats listed)
sub category eg code 5.1 and do NOT make it a group. it uses list.tpl (With pages listed)
... can we help you ...

Relax, Lombi. :) Our CMS just needs documentation and willing hands to write it. I would write a lot, but myself I'm not that well informed as well, hahaha! oups, sorry :-))

Though I can write some drafts and let more knowledge-able people finish it, what do you think?

Hehe, went a bit over the line huh :D

Well we're getting the FAQ plugin up so it should help with this until the new video series starts.

//edit: and yes, drafts would be an awesome start!
