So, gentlemen, the test translator from Google. I think that after its introduction on this site, we will be more convenient to communicate.

Example forum posts:

http://ldu.su/translate/trans_ru.html
http://ldu.su/translate/trans_eng.html
http://ldu.su/translate/trans_tur.html
http://ldu.su/translate/trans_de.html

What do you think about this ?

Use Jquery and Google AJAX Language API.

It works on the client side.

More information about Google AJAX Language API, you can read here http://code.google.com/intl/ru/apis/ajaxlanguage/documentation/#Translate

The meaning of work as follows:

Passes to all posts in the topic, in this case on the block with the class "fmsg", on each of the blocks put a new unit with the class "translate_fmsg", parallel to this action produce the translation of text and paste it into a block with the class "translate_fmsg", and block "fmsg" to hide.

Sam Post is divided by 300 characters and sent for translation.

The original language of post is determined automatically.

Basically that's all:)

Amro I think it is necessary to draw attention to the translation of some parts of messages eg, plugin should not convert units with the code
bla bla bla

Translate this into English

Features I'd like to see:
- Select language options in adminpanel (checkboxes or something, so you can limit the translation options; for example if I expect only dutch and german visitors, I can limit the options to those two languages + english for other visitors)
- Profile option to auto-translate into user language (current deflang works, but setting this in profile is more logical and keeps such settings in one place)

motor2hg I think this is quite solvable problem. It remains to write a function for parsing and analysis of html code. Which will skip those sections of code that do not require translation. Still, it is better than nothing at all)

Koradhil do not rush, the plugin will be posted shortly, once corrected all bugs.

I think this should be tightly integrated with the multilanguage support that cotonti and custom plugins represent. That would be perfect.

Or at least have this via url support, so you'd tie this into sed_url and have custom URL from translations.
