I've been working on a port of the Seditio Events and Calendar plugins by Tefra.

Out-of-the-box, these plugins don't work, so I've modified and improved it to work with Cotonti.

Features:
- Add/edit/delete events
- Events categories
- Fully localisable (includes EN and NL lang files)
- Validation queue for events

Added features in v2.0:
- Maximum number of participants for events
- Deadline for updating availability

Bugfixes and other changes in v2.0:
- Fixed month+1 issue when adding/updating an event
- Changed template to a more basic one that should work with most skins
- Fixed 'All' language bug (wasn't properly localised)

> Download v1.0 (beta)
> Download v2.0

Important notice: An SQL injection vulnerability has been discovered in the events plugin. V2.0 has been patched to fix this vulnerability. Please re-download and re-install the events plugin. V1.0 is not patched and is still vulnerable!

Great job, going to try it right away cause we really used that plug very much.

Just installed it, with even the old events items in the database, installed very nice, no errors.

For the final release I will add the option to set a deadline for users to change their availability. So, for example, the admin can set a 7-day deadline, which means the users have until 7 days before the event begins to update their availability. After that, it's not possible to make any changes to the availability.

Any chance of there being a maximum participants option?

And thanks for this btw.

Max participants is a good idea, will work on that too ;)
Deadline option is now almost complete, I've added the db table and input fields for it, but not the logic (the control statement that actually makes it work).

Will there also be a upgrade set for the users already running the beta?

Updating will be a matter of replacing the files and running an SQL script that adds two columns to the sed_events table. I'll include this.

Update:

Just finished v2.0 !

Added features:
- Maximum number of participants for events
- Deadline for updating availability

Bugfixes and other changes:
- Fixed month+1 issue when adding/updating an event
- Changed template to a more basic one that should work with most skins
- Fixed 'All' language bug (wasn't properly localised)

Just was looking through our event list, and was actually missing 1 option that you do have for normal pages.

The ability of rights for eventgroups (you created with the events plug) to view the different eventgroups, would that be possible to add?

Is it possible to embed tags in the Event plugin?
