the news plugin is very useful. but i find that the homepage looks horrible,when artilces are too long. is there a method that can cut the articles on homepage,and just show part of them,for example,100-200 words.
i tried to do this,but failed. please help me |

add [ more ] without the space on the place where you want to break the news. At this place you get read more... with a link to the page ... can we help you ...

thanks pieter another question：how to chagnge “read more” to other words？ Added 16 minutes later: solved...edit "main.lang.php" my head is a mess...so many problems are waiting for me i've just found that the scroll is missing in some articles,but in others ,it is still there on the right... you shouldn't mess with main.lang.php, unless you're ready to lose your changes after an upgrade. redeclare L.ReadMore in the skin.lang.php SED.by - создание сайтов, разработка плагинов и тем для Котонти
