Hello,
I have been working on Trackback systems and try to understand it and examine it, about four or five days. I will not explain what they are, I'll explain why I did this. I did it because it is something comes along (more truthfully, became popular) with Web 2.0 and Wordpress. It is a very good way of people getting maximum information, around the blog systems. It is actually coded for blogs, so I have to say that, adapting Seditio/Cotonti was hard, more, I did not know about anything of Trackbacks before Lombi mentioned (*** Stuff our CMS bloody needs ***) Even I had no idea, it would be easy if Seditio was a blog, or a little more elastic. But it wasn't, and it was about to drive me crazy... I, right now do not feel happy at all of accomplishing a hard task (for me at least), I feel angry it took so long. Anyway, I finished the plugin and uploaded to Cotonti. All you need to do is in config.php $db_trackbacks = 'sed_trackbacks';You can easily figure out what to do when you download the plugin. I may not be happy but I am releived right now, so hope it will be useful for you. Feel free to develop it, I won't be around for a while, but I'll focus on Web 2.0 projects about Cotonti (xmlrpc, pingbacks vs) when I'm around.
