I like the tabs idea, I'm actually using it on FM Scout.
I only placed latest forum posts on top (along with who's online) because it's the first thing I want to see when entering a site. Could still do the tabs idea quite stylish on that same top area. The small boxes on the left column are nice though, so maybe a little rearrangement of content could be interesting. The latest news go on top of left column (5 of them), brief site info goes on the right column along with latest poll (in the same fancy box it is now) and tags. I'll try to post the new version by tomorrow. Thanks for the input mate! It's not the hours you put in, but what you put in the hours.
