You need to install advanced news - If you only want the pagination just add {NEWS_INDEX_PAGENAV} as tag in news.tpl - If you want all features: Add this after <!-- END: PAGE_ROW --> and before <!-- END: NEWS --> in news.tpl <!-- BEGIN: HEADLINES_ROW -->
