Manage your forum moderators

A complete solution for management and display of your forums moderators.
 

#1. Features

  1. Automatically creates special groups for moderators: a group for each forum section.
  2. Easily assign moderators to exact forums.
  3. Smart remove, cleanup and synchronization utilities.
  4. Displays moderators in sections and topics.

#2. Installation

  1. Put the «modlist» plugin into your «plugins» folder.
  2. Go to Admin => Plugins => Moderators List and install the plugin.
  3. Go to Admin => Configuration => modlist and configure the plugin.
  4. Then go back to Moderators List tool main menu and run Synchronize sections and groups to create appropriate moderators groups for your forum structure.
  5. Add {FORUMS_SECTIONS_ROW_MODLIST} to your forums.sections.tpl.
  6. Add {FORUMS_TOPICS_MODLIST} to your forums.topics.tpl.
  7. Go to Section list of the Moderators List tool, choose a section and assign moderators to it!

#3. Usage

#3.1. Assigning / removing moderators:

  1. Enter Admin => Tools => Moderators List and enter Section list. Choose a section you want to manage moderators in.
  2. Enter a correct username in the text field and press «Add» button to assign a new moderator.
  3. Click «Delete» button on the right of the name of the moderator you want to remove from the list.

#3.2. Adding / removing forums sections:

  1. After you add or remove forum sections in Admin => Forums, you need to run Admin => Tools => Moderators List => Synchronize sections and groups, it will automatically add new groups for new sections and remove unused data for the sections you have removed.
  2. After that you will be able to assign moderators to newly created forums.

An SQL fix:
ALTER TABLE sed_modlist DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8 COLLATE=utf8_unicode_ci;
Fixed in version 2.0.2.
