Hi guys,

We are about to release 0.9.16. To make sure that nothing is broken with this release, please download and try current version from GitHub here. If you find obvious bugs, we'll fix them sortly. If everything is fine, we'll tag it and release within next few days.

Thanks!

Does the testing you are looking for also include testing to see if the update process from Genoa to Sienna is now working correctly? Or do you not need any testing of that?

If it needs testing, can you confirm with this new version we still need to apply the https://github.com/Cotonti/cotonti-legacy/archive/master.zip ?
So, first upload 0.9.16, than upload the legacy (overwriting the other files) and than running the install?

i believe we DO use 'legacy', thats the way to do it, i got some 'progres' but im geting "wrong url".. :S

@fox: since u have the same "thing" i do, lets hop in i.e. SKYPE and try on our own, maybe we will figure out smth...?

i'd love to see (ask nicely) to have the "log" to see how this thing upgrade step by step, whith errors i can track my mistakes...

Updated one of my sites from 0.9.15. No critical errors at this moment. Still testing…

Hey Dave, I have so far been unable to update my current Genoa DB to Sienna. I tried different versions but I keep getting all kinds of DB errors and if not errors are present my DB data dissapears (reported this bug before which should be fixed in this version i think).
So, I am actually completely useless for you to try and pinpoint your mistakes as I too seem to be unable to do anything right ;)

However, if you wish to Skype a bit about this feel free to add me: gr-foxhound

I just did a full upgrade procedure from Genoa 0.6.25 to Siena 0.9.16 (repo version) without any errors.

Thanks for testing, guys! You can actually pop into our http://www.cotonti.com/chat to share some messages.

It is supposed that Genoa to Siena upgrade should work normally now.

Dave, those "Wrong URL" messages after upgrade usually mean that some of your third-party plugins or system/functions.custom.php contains

defined('SED_CODE') or die('Wrong URL');

while this statement is not legal anymore. Please check that.

Added 14 hours later:

update:

it didnt let me sleep :p ive made update,  "un-install'ed" all plugins @ genoa and then install, went ok, i saw the "green background" with this error on top:

Warning: unlink(./datas/cache/templates/index.html) [function.unlink]: Permission denied in C:\WebServ\httpd-users\siena\setup\siena\patch-genoa.inc on line 18

thats all, for now every thing is ok
