Foren / Cotonti / Support / \n in emails from contact plugin

Whenever I receive an email via the contact plugin I get something like this:

Sender: Twiebie (email@address.com) \n
: This is a test\n
Message:\nPraesent vitae augue arcu, vitae scelerisque massa. Sed lobortis rutrum feugiat. Nam semper lectus at ligula laoreet dignissim. Duis posuere velit nec leo elementum eget volutpat eros ornare. Aliquam ligula lacus, commodo id tincidunt et, lacinia id est. Proin ac libero nulla, nec dictum ante.\n\n

I've tried it on a few different servers with the latest Cotonti Siena.

Other emails sent from the website are indeed fine.

Just the ones from the contact plugin have the \n issue.

Ah, I see.

When I use something like this in the template it doesn't produce the \n.

Name: {$author}
Subject: {$subject}

{$text}

By default in the config the template is empty.
