thx twieb

So, yet another question...

Could some of you professionals out there take some time to look at my site, and judge it?

and then I don't mean hose me down with petrol and set me on fire, but with critisism that helps me further..

What can I do better, or different, are there some 'general' programming rules I broke, etc. you know that kind of stuff..

I would be gratefull..

I'm far from professional when it comes to webdesign, but i'll share my opinion anyway if you don't mind.

Maybe you could style the tables (forums/register/login/news etc..) at bit more to make it a bit more fancy looking?

Hmm, shield just got activated on your website while I was just browsing around a bit..

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.battlefieldintel.com%2Fsite%2Findex.php&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

As much as I like the design, the HTML-coding (and possibly CSS-styling) is pretty much outdated -- and invalid. There might be more issues if you get into the detailed SEO-analysis, but I would start with valid and semantic HTML-code :)

Ouch, 55 errors - you got some work to do mate ;)

I think the design looks amazing but yeah those 55 errors could be minimized or completely removed..

My site, I think has the same amount as well cheeky But I could care less about it. As long as it works I'm cool about it. And it takes forever to debug everything...

oh, new tool..

guess that will be a rainy saturday afternoon checking a list..

lolwut? outdated some parts yes, coz I haven't figured out some stuff yet, so fixed it my way, so to speak.. sometimes use tables instead of divs; the youtube player is implemented a rather blunt way, i admit, is that the stuff what you mean?

again, thx for that tool, didn't knew it exsisted, will use it from now on. :)

It is something that has bothered me from the get go, but I haven't came up with something fancy yet... if you have an idea, it's more than welcome.. coz i've got a sort of writersblock when it comes to that annoying green bar..

Using background images in for example the .coltop class can give things a nice touch as it adds a bit more depth to it.

Browsing the internet for some gaming forums can always give you some inspiration.

For example: http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&q=gaming+forum#/d2ga73g

ha, kort, you gonna like this one ;) (i know how you feel about that particular plugin)

line 27 is something with the slimbox plugin.. But seeing there is not really an other option available, I'd have to life with that..

But how can I prevent the error of line 423? I do not know how else to link directly to the add page for a particular category..
