I have looked in the plugins, but there seems to be nothing that fits my needs. Back on seditio, there was a plugin where you could have seperate "recent" areas. Example:

The news plugin supports multiple categories, just separate category codes with a comma.

I'm not talking about that. I am talking about the right side, where it will show new articles in each catagorey. Just like Recent Additions but more.

This is an addition to the recent items. The things you are explaining is to have more categories as NEWS. He want a split in the recent items. Something like this:  Added 8 minutes later: Maybe a nice adding for Cotonti to integrate into the recent items. ... can we help you ...

I'm currently expanding the Recent plugin to do this, stay tuned
