I see in on my webserver some files that are I think useless.
eg:  These are from previous versions. Can I delete them are not in the latest release? ... can we help you ...

I assume replacing the whole system folder would fix the problem

I'd backup those files first and then replace the entire system folder as Kort suggested.

I will do that.
And my other question is, with future updates, we should indicate which files need to be deleted. I upload always the new files and the old will be overwritten, but if a file is deleted if will stay there. /system/ was an example. There are also other dirs I suppose. ... can we help you ...

Keeping those old files won't hurt, except that they take up a little extra webspace.

i would delete them after a backup because every extra file that isnt needed could be a potential security risk...
