I was gonna do it, but I had to ask first.
I see no reason to make "recent topics" part configurable (with subforums, parent only, only topics vs.) Most systems only goes with topic names, not even message counts. I know we desire everything to be flexible, but it also makes it slower. I think, we should only make options when we need to. |

Well this really depends on the site admin, some need version 1, some need version 3 of the display for it to fit into their site.

Yes, this differs from site to site, so having just 1 option available will result into 3 plugins more coded by someone.
