Quote in username

In the user list section:
url: users.php?m=details&id=32&u=Gert+van+%5C%27t+Iets This is not working.. But if I do: users.php?m=details&id=32 Then its ok.. I think it is the quote in this person's name.. Is this a bug ? Leo Edit: After removing the single quote everything was fine, si it is a quote thing.... !!! ==- I say: Keep it EZ -==

Usernames should not have a single quote in them at all, It should not be possible at all for it to contain one.

Still the user can register with a single quote in the name... The systems lets them..
So that's my problem right now. A single quote is often used in names in the NL. Is there a way to prevent the quote in a proper manner (hooks or plugins). Or should I just hack it (i do not want that off course)? Is this a point for te next Cotonti release ? thnx ==- I say: Keep it EZ -==

It is a brand new site: http://schaaksite.nl/ It went online last saterday 00:00 I will try it again to verify.... ==== test 't testje Inactive af Afghanistan 2010-01-12 I came through the first step... (I got the email.. both admin and the test user) But now the admin should set this account to active, and that's where it goes wrong because of the single quote in the username. url for the user account is: http://www.schaaksite.nl/users.php?m=details&id=79&u=test+%5C%27t+testje If you change it to : http://www.schaaksite.nl/users.php?m=details&id=79 then you can get to the account detail.. but you cannot save it (because off the quote) So I take the quote out off the name and then its OK. ==- I say: Keep it EZ -==
