It does not even do anything. I thought youtube was a standard BBCode.

If using the seditio plugin which has the youtoep tags, you need to delete the youtoep metacafe etc from the list in admin bbcodes, those have some strange settings wich cause that (or did in the past,am not on 005 yet due to time not available).
Then install the bbflow plug wich has all and more to view properly, and has the settings complete correct. you might need to clear the bbcache and the html cache of site, 2 different, one on bbcodes and one in other options. then install bbflow, that worked the best for me.
