Hey, I've had a cool idea, in my opinion anyway ;-)
Some of the members on my site have asked for badges. I was thinking it would be cool if there was a plugin that would allow Admin & moderators to give badges to members, Admin could add badge names and images, then the badge would show up on the users profile.

Maybe a way to award badges automatically when a user completes a certain task or reaches a level such as posting 50 times in the forum or similiar.

Another idea would allow members to choose one badge that would appear in their info box on the forum, maybe below their username. I'm not a Programmer or anything so i've no idea how this would work or if it's even possible. It was just an idea. Thanks!

Love Cotonti. :-X

i once actually started to code this with the idea :
People can get a reward medal by for example having the most amount of posts / added pages / referred members etc.
However when someone else had a higher amount of contribution the other one lost the medal.
Kinda of a competition ^^.

I will try to find the hack and make it public as a plugin.

No promises tough!

Please use descriptive titles when starting new topics. Title "Idea" doesn't give me any info on topic's subject, while "Idea : User Badges" is much better.. Thanks O:-)

Now, I've seen something like this in Joomla and personally I think this could be a nice plugin :-)
