Well its not exactly possible to completely list everything.

But most of the articles linked here http://www.cotonti.com/news/announce/cotonti_002_released will cover most of the major enhancements and changes.

Also a few notes from 0.0.1 can be found here http://www.cotonti.com/news/announce/12

The best way to see the difference's is just to try it out for yourself. One good way to do that if you don't have webspace to do so is, to setup a localhost, you can use packages such as WAMP or XAMPP

You'd have to modify Seditio quite a bit, especially when new stuff will come out and plugins will start using the new hooks better.

But if you're modifying seditio, why not just use cotonti.

Plugins in Cotonti core, and ones made specifically for Cotonti use likely will not work with Seditio. Due to use of functions/features not in Seditio.

Best experience I made developing PHP on a Mac
- IDE: Komodo IDE or Textmate
- Localhost: MAMP
- Subversion: Cornerstone
- Database Tool: Sequel Pro
- FTP Tool: ForkLift

I am a sed/ldu fan since early days with several sed sites and am wondering what I have to do to make them compatible with cotonti if this is the way of the future - have read the documentation but cannot find anything in there that explains this aspect of changing over to cotonti with an active sed site? Do I simply do a new install, download my database and then reupload database into new install?

cheers and best of luck :)
