Recently everybody uses tables to list data. Like on index.php, recentitems plugin, we are trying to get rid of these, why use now?

Not everyone can develop <div> stuff. I know myself I've never been good with fancy <div> making. And well the front looks better now IMO, than it used to be with the change to tables.
Your of course free to fix this if you can :) But there will be a new default skin(s) when/before we get to 0.1.0 |

You're oldskool but old is not cool. In fact, not only fancy, also faster. Ok, everybody can't build that up but why change the previous one?

Well, it was prob changed because it made it look better than the typical view, which just felt jumbled together. You would have to see who changed it, and ask them :)
Make us a <div> version of it oc and we will use it :) I have nothing against using div's, as I know how tables can be a pain in the ass. |
