Java Applet installation

Is it possible to play a simple sound from a webpage: I found this page http://www.phon.ucl.ac.uk/home/mark/audio/play.htm# And I want to use the java applet (number 7 in that list), but how do I install this applet (class file) on the server? Team Thanked: 52 times	Why on earth would you want to play a sound using Java. That's probably the worst method to choose, since it is only supported in IE (and others through a plugin). You'll be better off using a flash-based alternative like Audioplay
