There's quite a bit of content on the homepage if you look how far you can scroll down, all in the same colours, which made it a bit busy looking for me.

Twiebie I have fixed the navigation drop downs, you are right it's much better.

As for the content, I think its the right amount, but what do you suggest for "contrast"? You don't think the section headers are enough?

2 suggestions:

Only the text in the navigation dropdown menu is clickable instead of the whole list item, making the the entire
clickable is a much better experience, especially on mobile devices.
Maybe a little less content on the homepage, or a bit more contrast between the items. Focus on the most important for the homepage.
