Good idea actually. If the image is smaller than thumbnail size, it should be resized at all.

Ok... but maybe a stupid question / remark

Its now possible that the thumbnail is larger then the given thumbnail sizes in config.
I understand that there is an algorithm, but maybe we should use 2 algorithm's.?

	1) first create thumbnail priority on width / height

	2) check if the thumbnails go beyond the maximum thumbnail sizes, and if so then that thumbnail should be resized using max sizes from config.

	OR...

If the original image size is smaller then the thumbnail.... then the thumbnail can be the same as the original image ?

	thnx..

A different thumbnail generation function is needed then. Each algorithm has drawbacks. In Siena we tried functions with several resize modes, but even with such a choice each location may have its own resizing preferences.

When uploading small (narrow) images in Genoa, the thumbnails are BIG...

e.g. this small image will get a big thumbnail

	e.g. http://www.cotonti.com/datas/users/dragme_494.png

Question is how to prevent this..
