I am having the same problem and I have checked the config multiple times and made new db and it still wont work. Am I missing something?

It didnt like the character in my password
I created a new db user and it worked

Are the settings ok in datas/config.php

Sometimes you need to add localhost, sometimes the real-server

Check also login and password
