Actually, it had to do with the browser cache...
I'd get a previous error, fix it, reload the page, error still there.....drove me mad.
But then I cleared my cache. Worked.

Anyways yea I need a beta tester. for a real live site
First, my server no mail server = can't test emails (Though the automatic one worked)

But the PM function(as you mention) works

Yep, it has two functions as editable in the config:
1: Send PM's and Emails Automatically
2: Send PM's and Write a EMail to certain users using the form=checkboxs
3: I just threw this one in, can decide if you want to only send emails or emails and PMs vice versa

You could always put the original designer in the credits, and yourself as adapter to cotonti.
Can't imagen why the original designer would object to that...

Think it better to have options to edit the time period, which groups, etc.. so bassically you will have the welcome message function, and below that the options for reminder mails..

Even in another lang that article was easy to understand.

Actually I keep the lang files, but I add:
$L['cfg_fromuserid'] = array('The User ID of the Sender');

ect..

So it works...to a point.

Can be updated

I removed the lang files for....the really only reason why I did this:
So that you can add a message via the admin panel and note have to go to the php files.

The only thing I am unsure of is this:

Like, is it possible to make that mulit-langel?

Indeed

I (believe so) fixed this.

However, after the new user sends the message, the name (ex. webmaster) that you sent turns to your name. :p XD

I don't think its a big deal though

EDIT:
nvm
The sent box shows the true name :p
But other then that it shows webmaster and works

Just waiting on a solution for the PM notify

there is another problem,which i think needs fixing.
Even if you set the 0 user id and Webmaster as referent,the user which will open this PM will still see the "Quick reply form" in which he would like to ask something or ect.

I think this could be done by a hack of the pm.inc.php where this form is formed by adding something like If "$row['fromusedid'] !=0" {...} ... cant look at the cotonti distibutive now,but i think the plot is understood

Once I see how it could work, I never stop

Anywayz it works, sends a PM, the message is editable via the config of the plugin.
Pretty simple actually

Actually I ran into a problem:
The user gets the PM, but there is no notification.
Like normally it would say "1 New PM"
But it doesn't

$sql = sed_sql_query("INSERT INTO $db_pm ( pm_state) values ('0');

0 or 1 nither does the trick...
(ran into this problem with seditio too...)

Added 17 minutes later:

Would you want to keep the way it is?
When the user gets the PM, due to Cotonti
if you set the name as webmaster(or any other name not the same as user id 1)
they get an error if they click it.

Cause Cotonti is looking for the username webmaster with the id # 1
unless that's your name you get a error.

So I could change that too....

hm.Add a input field in the setup file.Something like:

[BEGIN_SED_EXTPLUGIN_CONFIG]
Message=08:string:::Additional pages fields for search, separated by commas. Example "page_extra1,page_extra2,page_key"
[END_SED_EXTPLUGIN_CONFIG]

and then in welcomepm.en.lang.php add something like this:

$L['plu_pmtext']  =  $Message

I really cant remember how exactly to do this.Coders please correct me
