I know this plugin/ It works on my site/ But Im not about this - not about plugin.
How many users of this site use it? Nobody?And if we does not use it? may be it is not necessary? As for me more useful plugin is box (mini-chat) - I can rewrite it with using Jquery (now it work by JsHttpRequest.js).

The plugin works perfectly fine. Java can be weird sometimes though, Try closing the window or browser completely then opening it again.
But you may find support for PJIRC Directly possibly through http://forum.pjirc.com/ or you could always find another web-applet if you wanted.

If you don't like to use web client java you can use a Standalone IRC client to connect.

Some multi-messenger programs such as Pidgin or Trillian support IRC network connections as well. And probally others do, i just know of those 2.

Its a problem with the diablo nick, you will have to use a different nickname

Just do /nick name or in bottom right Insert a new nickname
