Its a little dirty because it replaces title and text with some dummy text first so it passes the check and then it replaces with empty strings right before running the db insert.

There is another problem if a page has no title, it gets marked as 'Deleted'. Maybe someone else can fix that

Agreed. The same can be said that the lack of content in page_title also should not cause an error - in return, you can add a warning message -

"You really want to add a page with no title - Yes or No"

"You really want to add a page with no text- Yes or No"

When I add a page, pagetext is now needed.

I use pages as a photogallery and don't need the pagetext all the time.
Is there a way to make it NOT needed anymore, maybe a config-entry.
