I think all the errors I get are due to the fact I tried to update a 0.6.14 to 0.9.0. I was convinced I was up to date, but only the live site was, not my localhost frown
Nevertheless I already was in process of creating a new design, based on the 0.9.0 nemesis skin, and plugins, which only includes the donations plugin of Genoa.
It creates some errors, but I will wait till Kilandor finds the time to update it.

think I got it down to one last error, and that's one caused by the donations plugin.

it shows this error while upgrading:

But now I simply get the message: wrong URL.

Ah, nvrmnd, I think I will  just set up a new one and import all the news items from 01-01-2011. That way I get a clean db with no old shit in it.

How do you upgrade it actually?

1. when upgrading to 0.9.0 it I have 2 maps; skins and themes. must I copy files from skins -> themes?


I currently am creating a new skin based on the nemesis skin;

2. is the nemesis skin a default for 0.9.0? (the structure differs from the symisun-03 skin)


Seeing the upgrade to 0.9.0 causes a whole (rather long) list of errors, I decided to reduce the amount of sienna plugins I use to a minimum.

3. Can I upload all the 0.9.0 files, create a fresh setup and afterwards import my old db into it?

I figured that to be a 'smart' thing, for then I have a fresh install, with all my old entries, and no heritage from the old sienna structure.

Or am I just thinking about this all wrong and should I just upgrade the way you discribe in the release notes?
