There is no real reason not to migrate to Genoa now. Seditio -> Siena is not possible without first migrating to Genoa, and Siena is very likely to have some bugs. Templates are mostly the same between Genoa and Siena, so migrating again later on will be easier.

exactly. siena's structure is completely different so it would be a waste of time unless you intend to stick with geona.
