Best to make this a plugin, I suggest using the ajax hook and use javascript to get the new pm info.
Actually I'm planning to include a facebook-style PM system in the next version of cotonti.com (work in progress), including a popup window at the top of the page which displays the title (etc) if there's a new pm. |
