In newest Cotonti, CKeditor embed youtube etc. doesn't work, do you have any solution?

1. Download and unpack the newest version

2. Make sure you have a backup (or can roll back to) all your your files and db

3. Copy (overwrite) the following folders:

  • images
  • js
  • lang
  • lib
  • modules
  • plugins
  • setup
  • system

4. Copy (overwrite) the following files:

  • admin.php
  • index.php
  • install.php
  • login.php
  • message.php
  • rc.php

5. Run install: http://site.com/install.php and make sure no errors occured during update

6. Delete install.php

This covers all files that you might need to change, except the data and the themes folders, that contain site-specific files that shouldn't be overwritten, as well as .htaccess, robots.txt, .gitignore, favicon.ico which you should have customized to your needs, plus install.txt and license.txt that are just for information

Alternatively you can manually identify the files you need to update:
