cotonti.com : New Complete Clan Solution https://www.cotonti.com Laatste forum onderwerpen Cotonti en Thu, 09 Oct 2025 19:20:37 -0000 lukgoh True, I just need to stay focused on one project at a time, however moving from project to project has taught me a lot and I have picked up many new skills along the way. Now it's just more of a time issue with me.

Kingsley Really? Hate the design, but it's not mine. just converting it.

:) people want complete and easy to handle solutions, so that's what you'll get. On the other side, adding all those (in your eyes) not needed functionality, might as well be the resaon for widespread use. And in all fairness, I think that it in the end is the goal of creating stuff. The more people use it the more the creator feels appriciated :p

lukgoh Clan site looks great!

I haven't had the time to work on much recently. Done a few things here and there, adding stuff to my stack of unfinished jobs :(

I really want to make a push with Battle-Box, but the stuff I have coded for it I would like to make available to the community here, for example the shop. The difficult part is I need it to do one thing and the community would need it to do something different, even though its the same idea, if that makes sense. For example, read the shop module topic, people are asking for things I really don't need, so it becomes a low priority...

Kingsley #36990 lukgoh:

Haha, yeah finished work and had a million emails from Github. Thanks for the input bud. Ill crack on with it as soon as I can.

No rush, what we can use, we use.. Will keep testing :)

Gave it a fairly basic layout (not finished with it yet), so if you want to see how it's going just check the fap clan website

How's battle-box progressing?

peperonikiller #36506 lukgoh:

The required css is included, however you need to include the file yourself. I will add the code shortly. You can do add this to the clan.php file: cot_rc_link_footer($cfg['modules_dir'] . '/clan/clan.css');

I was working on an admin theme for it but I guessed it was a bit pointless.

So far my biggest recommendation is just better skin implementation and some css work.  Other than that it seems to have all the functionality we would need to use it.

lukgoh Yeah I never got that far. The idea behind that page was to display some links to tournaments your clan is competing in.

]]>
Wo, 12 Dec 2012 13:29:51 -0000
tensh Hmm, there is no file clan.tournaments.php? Or am I missing something?

I'm currently examining the module, looking nice so far :)

Much appreciated, peperonikiller. Look forward to your feedback.

In the mean time, any plans/progress on getting a layout(css) setup for it?

peperonikiller Looking good.  I'm really liking what you've got so far.

I'll have some suggestions later after I populate some data and test a few things.

Kingsley Maybe add a file with all available tags? (dunno if that Cot trick for showing tags works on your module, hence the suggestion)

I'd say include a very simple CSS design so it looks nice out of the box but can also easily be tweaked.

2nd that :)

lukgoh Good shout Macik thank you. I'm testing stuff now. Maybe closer to a version 1.0 relase than I thought...

Oh, what would you guys prefer, a basic css design so it can be used out the box or just tags?

Do you still have the last version of the module I sent you Kingsley? If so can you let me know what currently works and what doesnt? If not I can send it to you. I actually lost the module but thanks to Twiebie I have it back.

If it not a closed project, you can upload it to GitHub for accessibility and easy upload|download. (There is GUI GitHub client for Windows - simple to use.) If you need help with it let me know.

Vr, 02 Nov 2012 04:24:51 -0000

lukgoh Sorry about the long delay. I'm back, blown the dust off the module and ready to crack on if anyones still interested in this. I am however looking for some help.

I need help adding the ability for users to upload images from the module. I have been trying to backwards engineer some of the other mods/plugins but I can't seem to get my head around it. If anyone has the time please let me know!

Kingsley was thinking maybe nice to add the option for challenging teams to add their logo to the challenge too? and maybe a part where an admin can add a match report, and a (registered) opponent can enter their match report (or can send it in via an admin). This can really make a nice match results page.
