I am trying to reformat {PAGE_ROW_DATE} with a piped callback using this: {PAGE_ROW_DATE|date("l F j Y", $this)} however I always get back Thursday January 1 1970 when the date the news was published on Thursday April 7 2011, any ideas? The Thursday looks like it is correct but January 1 1970 also fell on a Thursday.

Is there some new way of reformatting variables?

I fixed this by using PAGE_ROW_DATE_STAMP instead of PAGE_ROW_DATE and everything works as expected. Thanks.
