Check Administration => Users => and see file size limitations. If it still doesn't help, that's probably a limitation in your php.ini.

You need to perform CHMOD 777 on the directories in /datas

1) Open your FTP program (FileZilla or so) and connect to your site's FTP
2) Navigate to the /datas folder inside Cotonti.
3) Select all folders inside /datas (html, users, thumbs, tmp etc..), right click on them and choose 'CHMOD' or 'File rights'.
4) Select all checkboxes for read/write/execute or enter '777' or '0777' in the input field and click Ok.

ok i tryed uploading a Pic to my site and got this error
