Is it possible to get dynamic $plugin_title = $L['plu_title']; just like in pages to this plugin?
I've tried a billion different things, but since I'm not a programmer, I surely could use some help.

Especially on plug.php?e=events&m=details&id=#### since there it's most vital.

Imo, система «Я пойду», «Я не пойду», «Возможно, пойду» -- это надуманная и откровенно глупая фича, которая нужна только потому, что она была в плагине событий изначально. По логике здесь необходимо только "Я иду", что реализуемо плагином закладок, который в октябре мы выложим в коммерческих загрузках.
Реализации повторения событий могут быть разными -- надо думать. Если дальше интересно, пиши в личку.

и еще - можно как-то сделать повторяющееся событие? например, каждый 10 день месяца или каждый год?

Using pages for events seems more logical than a separate table since you got everything needed there (three date fields is more than enough). Plus you get all page-related benefits (search, comments, ratings, tags etc). "I'll be there" capability (if needed) can be provided by extrafields and (maybe) a small linking plugin.

You probably need http://www.yoursite.com/plug.php?e=calendar
This will give you a large view of the calendar on it's own page.

You can set menu items in Admin -> Config -> Menus.

HI everyone. How would you add a calander as a menu link?

Sorry should explain a bot more. What I'm trying to do is have a menu link to a calandar from the home page for game events. How do i setup the menu link to a calandar? How do i enter events on that calander.

As you might have gathered I am new at using Cotonti. Any help will be much appreciated.

Out of curiosity has anyone noticed that clicking on a date on the mini calendar brings up the date before (eg clicking April 10th will go to April 9th on the actual events page).

I haven't actually done any digging yet as I just noticed it.

Yes, I'll be there will still be available. The only thing I added was an SQL query that sets user participation to 'available' for all users inside the selected group, when you're adding the event (event.add). It's not possible to change it later on (event.edit).

'I won't be there' is definately useful. Actually the client I'm building all this for doesn't need the 'I'll be there' option, but the 'I won't be there' option.

V3.0 now also supports setting a certain usergroup to be 'available' by default. This forces users to use the 'I won't be there' option if they are not available.

Just to let you know, v3.0 is on the way. It will not be directly compatible with v2.0, as I've made some major changes to the way data is stored, to allow for recurring events. Events are split up into events information and individual instances. I've added a new table sed_event_instances which stores the start and ending date/time for each instance of the event. Event participation is linked to the instance, not to the event itself. This will allow you to have multiple instances of a single event (chistmas every year, meeting every week) but still enables users to set a different availability status for each event.

Koradhil, here is a few items i would like to see in a future version of Events & Calendar :

- More Extra Fields
- RSS output (eventsrss.php or something alike)
- Tags integration so that it would be intergrated with Tag Cloud
- Less style="width:100%" and more class="events-width" in .php files (this i can help you with, if wanted)
- SEO integration = Event title in header Event Title

That was what i was currently thinking about.
Please do make a note that i use the Events & Calendar very extensivly on my website. Today a mere 4300+ events are in the database and growing each day.

Since just before I posted my above post, so around 2009-04-24 01:06 GMT+1.
You only have to replace the .php files in /events and /events/inc to fix the vulnerability. Re-installing it through the admin panel is not necessary, so you won't have to re-set any configuration values. The database itself is not affected.

EVENTSADD_FORM_EXTRA1 & 2, EVENTSEDIT_FORM_EXTRA1 & 2 and EVENTSDETAILS_EXTRA1 & 2 that are present in the /inc files, where can we set the values etc. on these ones ? It's nowhere in the admin >> tools >> Cotonti Events or anywhere else for that matter, except in the files themselves ?

Okay - got it. Makes sense now. I'm a new user of system (last 48 hours) and I did not understand/connect the indicators in the plug-in list that indicate that there are additional configuration tools under admin >> tools. I was too focused on the configuration link.
