Connect and sign in to Cotonti with your Twitter account

@Koradhil - This is my tutorial and you might see that the part about the same username on Twitter as well on the site you connect to. I had troubles connecting my existing account with twitter. Am I wrong?
"If you are not a member on the website you can sign up by doing these 4 steps: 1. Click the "Sign in with Twitter" button. Connect you twitter account to our website. (You only allow already public information to be shared) 2. You will then be directed to creating an account with Megamind Magazine. Fill out the form and send it. 3. You'll get an email which you need to confirm the registration. 4. Click on the "Sign in with Twitter" button again after you've completed the above steps and you are now logged in to Megamind Magazine. Already registered users at Megamind Magazine can connect through their profile, but please bare in mind that your user name on Twitter and Megamind Magazine need to be the same." @aiwass: I read that on your website. As far as I know there is no need for your Twitter screen name and Cotonti username to be the same. At the demo site my username is Koradhil while my Twitter screen name is GHengeveld.
Also I recommend placing the Sign-in button within the <!-- BEGIN: GUEST --> conditional block. |

At the demo site my username is Koradhil while my Twitter screen name is GHengeveld. I tried with my "admin" account and my twitter account which ain't "admin" and I couldn't login. Hence the little warning. I'll try later on again with another account. Maybe it was related to an earlier issue?
I've updated the download file again, the {TWITTER_SIGNIN} tag will now only be assigned for guests, so there's no need to put it in the conditional block anymore. Also there will now be a message when you're redirected to the registration page when you try to sign in. |
