hmm...  well. i dont really know how that bbcodes get parsed by the system.
its really wierd since it should get parsed for every text output. (if you activated bbcode parsing of course)

i hope somebody from the core dev will say something about that.

(but your solution isnt the most elegant .. so maybe think about another way? as plan b :D )

what exactly happens when you use it on pages and forums. it shows you a random item from the array? or does it show nothing?
how does it react?

you don't use ckedit, do you?
