As for me — I'm not ready to get this task.

But I think this as a start can be done with little efforts. It can be done based on «page» module with adding some extrafields through admin panel and update TPL files. So simple kind of you system can be made with no programming plugins at all. You get one page for every resume, it can be sorted for separate page structure folders and searchable through «Search» plugin.

Understood. How about leaving the parser out and just coding a Resume Builder with text fields and drop-downs?

It's a very complicated task. Especially in Word/PDF parsing. Not by format itself but by need of good syntactical analysis.

Hi,

I'm looking for an experienced programmer that can create a new plugin that will allow members to either create or upload their resume to the site. They can have multiple resumes. They can either go through a wizard to create the resume, or upload a Word or PDF file which we can parse. Also, I will need an interface for recruiters to be able to search for resumes and contact potential candidates. I understand this is not a simple plugin. I'm willing to provide a good requirements document and clarifications as needed.

Please get in touch with me if you're capable of coding such plugin and have the time. I can pay via PayPal. I'm honest and reliable, and expect you to be the same.

Thank you.
