Edit: As the bug report has been closed by Trustmaster I uploaded the new code to my site, however, I'm still experiencing the same issue. Has the fix been uploaded to GitHub / has anyone got this working?

I'm having a strange issue with the who's online plugin. Each time I refresh the page when I am logged in the member count increases by one. When I look at the member list inside the plugin there are many redundant entries of my username, all with the same IP address. The timestamps in the "last seen" column correspond with when I last refreshed/changed page.

So what's going on here?
