Does your server have all the requirements that Cotonti needs ?
I had the same problems at first until i check if all the required bits was available on the server i was testing on. It turned out that they weren't, so i changed to another server which had the requirements needed.

Hello, I was always a fan of Seditio, so I decided to give Cotonti a try, except everytime I go to my sites URL I receive the following message:

Warning: mysql_error(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/rmseries/public_html/system/database.mysql.php on line 97

2009-04-21 09:54
Fatal error : Could not connect to database !
Please check your settings in the file datas/config.php
MySQL error :

Now, I followed the guide, I created a database, Called rmseries_contonti, created a User: rmseries_test and a password and enter it into config-simple.php. Then I assigned the user rmseries_test to the database I created. Simple, common sense stuff. I set the main URL for the site, set the skin, etc and then renamed config-simple.php to config.php then added the SQL tables to the database. I navigate to my URL, but I receive the same error message.

So I use the exact same information as above (Removed the cotonti tables, added Seditio ones) and install a clean version of Seditio V121, and it all goes smoothly with no problems. Does anyone have any other ideas? Thank you for your time ^^
