Add ability (tag) to show a quick list of what is currently in the shopping cart. So a customer can see in the blink of an eye how much the total price of everything in his basket is while shopping. Feature for custom shipping costs, maybe depending on destination, weight, size, etc. Receipt/order confirmation via email and confirmation of payment via email, that sort of thing. List of orders in the administration panel and feature that allows an admin to simply change the status of an order, bit like the ticket/support module. So an admin can change the order status to 'Dispatched' when an item has been sent. Send email automatically on order status change. What you have in most webshops.

Nice shop plugin :)
It would be nice to display a message through cot_messages() once somebody performs an action in shopping cart (like update quantity).

But overall very nice!

Well, I can not really say which options cause that depends on the product. But lets imagine you want to sell a bed there, the bed is available in 4 different measures. Depending the measures the price changes.
By making those 4 measures an option with the product listed you prevent a shop owner from having to list the same product 4 times, each time for a different measure.
All the shop owner does is add a product, add 4 different measures to be selectable and all those 4 measures get their own price.

I hope the above makes it a little bit more clear, if not I can show you maybe some examples.

Developing the shop module, coming close to releasing version 1.0 and I was wondering what features you would expect to see from the module. So far you can:

Create categories
Create products
Select what products should be featured or in the spotlight - If none are selected it displays some of the availble products
Offer discounts - Automatically works out how much the price is reduced by and the percentage off
Each category and product has its own page to display more information if you want
Skinable Nivo slider for featured products
Shopping cart
Connected to Paypal
Can choose between live and sandbox mode to test your Paypal account if required
Choose what currency your shop uses
Choose return URL and cancel URL for Paypal
Comes with a Paypal listener for use with their IPN API to save sales in your database
