Indead, I know it does not work in the current release.
But I though with the next release (hopefully soon) we can use it, so I implement it already.
So it is a feature for the FUTURE

I did a fresh install (cotonti and skin) and got no problem.

Maybe pause the news-plugin. What happens?
Have you change the things in the menu? See readme-file

1. I did not change the standard links in the menu. Only the first (Home and Forums) were changed.
But this is in a menuslot, so you can change it yourself.

2. No idea how to change. This is JS related.

3/4/5. These are solved, because the the standard skin for the user was a skin that was not complete and it takes the default and then you have skin problems. Changed the skin and problem solved.

its easy for html cause each page has its own data..
but for a cms?
