I think than half of standard plugins are not use on most of sites. I think we need remove them from box and place in downloads section.
Which plugins I think should be deleted from core:
1. Chili Highlighter – Yes
2. Forumstats – No
3. Mass-move topics in forums –Yes
4. Recent items – No, Their needed. Both new in the forums and recent articles.
5. Seditio Compatibility – Yes I never needed to use it
More actual core plugins:
1. Captcha – ]Big yes!

Which plugins I think should be deleted from core:
1. Chili Highlighter – this plugin is necessary only on programmer’s blogs and forums (agree)
2. Forumstats – I think that it is not stat for big forum. It s little information about count of topics and most popular topic (I catch your drift but I don't think it should be removed)
3. Mass-move topics in forums – I think it is not global tool for administration of the forum. Its little part of it. (agree)
4. Recent items – 50% of functionality of this plugin we can realize by news plugin. And we need only recent forums. But I think to do by myself big plugin for “recent items and new from my last visit” Where will be all information about new pages, new topics, new comments, new polls, new users. (don't agree, but I guess it really depends on the site)
5. Seditio Compatibility – this plugin was actually when our system was opened. When people make first steps from seditio to cotonti world. Now more and more people – or update old versions of cotonti or install new copy of it.
