Limit requests from IP

Donator	Is exists any possible way to block an user IP, which makes a numerous requests? I have a problem with server load and I want to make some defense against bots. Donator	Thanks a lot! I enabled just now this option. But i dont know what about search engines and their bots? They all will be blocked?
